VHO Help
Hello all.....
I just bought a PFO VHO retrofit and installed them. The end caps are wired with a green / white wire on one and red / black on the other. I connected them using opposite colors from end to end and fired them up and cant even see a lick of difference! I am running SE Reeflux 12k in Lumenarc III reflectors. The odd this is if I turn the switch off on one it still is powering both lamps. I switched the end caps to rmatch the colors (red/black - Red/Black) and same thing. Somethings not right! if you bought it "new".....read the instructions....each cord has two endcaps attached to the plug in ballast...those are for "1" bulbs..one end gets the grn/wht the other end gets the blk/red....

Hey Jim, wish I could help. If you don't get an awnser here I'd try the lighting forum. On a side note, how do you like the Reeflux 12k bulb? You saw my tank w the XM 10K's on the lumenarc's...I'm looking for a little more blue, would you recommend the reeflux 12k?

So far I really like the color. It gives a slight hint of blue without the VHO but when the VHO's are on it looks amazing! I figured out the VHO part anyway  Jim |
