40 Gallon Reef .......Complete with MH
This tank was sold, but the person buying it had some issues with honesty and payment, so here it is again. Sadly it now requres a bit of urgency with regard to my getting rid of it.
Well, looks like a bigger tank is soon in the works along with a move, and instead of waiting till the last minute I have decided to liquidate my rather cool 40 gallon reef setup. So here is what you will get. All this is about 7 mos old. All livestock is healthy and well established. 40 Gallon Tru Vu custom tank – really neat size – top enlarged for easier access. Black back and of course rounded front corners. Custom made stand and canopy – lid is included but not on right now. Back of the stand was cut to fit the filter, and the job was so-so. The stand however is very cool and suffers minimal wear and tear. Hamilton pro star light fixture – 250w HQI supplemented by two-96w pc’s (actinic). Ballasts for both included as well as dual fans. I also have two super blue pc bulbs that have not been used. Wet dry filtration w/ hang on overflow and integral protein skimmer. Max capacity for this is an 85-gallon aquarium, so plenty of circulation and sump volume. Barley fits in the stand. It is accessible via the front but cannot be removed this way. All pumps included. Titanium Heater Deep sand bed, mostly pink Fiji but some slightly more course. Live rock – not sure how much but the tank is pretty full. 3 good size clams Clams – one tiger stripe Derasa, one brown Derasa, and one T Squamosa. All very nice and still growing. A fair amount of ricordea, peach, pink and green. Some has propagated so a few loose polyps are in the tank. One midsize finger leather. Star polyps that are encrusting nicely. One RBTA that is about 6� 8� when fully expanded. This has already split three times. One mushroom rock and a tad bit of xenia. These are propagating and starting to spread. One pair of mated maroon strip clowns. One Green Chromis. Also one large serpent star. Two peppermint shrimp, various crabs and snails. Along with this is a fair amount of supplies which you are more than welcome to. If further pics are needed please email me at selliott58@hotmail.com and I will be glad to send them. And as expected this tank is for local pick up only. I will assist in breakdown, but you will need to provide containers and transportation. Price is 550.00 but somewhat negotiable depending on time frame.
