eheim 1260 output

I'm considering replacing my eheim 1250 with either the 1260or62 and dr foster smith says the us equiv. is 5/8" but was hoping it was really 3/4 bc 5/8 is an odd plumbing size. what is the output on the pump?

3/4" MPT will screw in, but is slightly loose. Wrap the threads with Teflon tape to make it tight. Use a sched 80 fitting. Sched 40 is not long enough.

No idea. It should be similar in length as the original fitting.
