PPE wont open
I just picked up 3 polyps of PPE and they wont open. All the other corals I got opened right when I put them in the tank. Is there a certain flow they perfer? Do they like low light or high light?

They will be fine down at the bottom of your tank with a moderate amount of flow.
Leave them alone for a few days. Did you have them shipped in? Did they get cold? |

Ya i got them shipped in, and it was cold as well. I got a 250w over them right now in a 24 nano cube. I just stuck them in the sand hopefully they open up soon.

Just keep them clean and under some moderate light and flow and they should be okay. The PE style of palys tend to be VERY hardy. I have had some that closed up, pinched off and real ugly blossom and open up after a couple of weeks.
