f/s - AquaMedic Nano Wave 9
This is a really sweet little tank! 6-7 months old. Price ranges from $120 - $165 or so. I'm selling for $85, and will throw in a bit of carbon I have left in a container. I won't ship it though
![]() I have kept fish, sps, lps, many brains, harlequin, porcelein crabs, numerous size starfish, etc... The tank has a lot of great features, here are the specs. Perfect working order, just took it down Sunday (lifestock parted out last week). http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=1212 Thanks!!!

Do you usually use the carbon? I thought that it takes too much vitamins and minerals out of the water, so i'ts better not to use it at all.
Just wondering, what are ypur thoughts? |

Hi, I'm still here. For some reason didn't get an email notice until today that you posted, not one from the other day.
Yep, I run carbon in it, as in all the other tanks I've owned (many). Carbon is good for a number of reasons, and I think only in certain situations (like Chuck's dendro tank), carbon isn't used. You can probably get by without it in the nano if you do regular water changes...either way, you'd have to play with it. There are a couple compartments in back where you can put filter media, macro algae (mini fuge), sponge, etc... Look up some nano tanks also, (i think there is an actual site for them too), and see how really beautiful they can be. thx!
