Can I ask two 'fragging' questions? How do you guys use the dremel tool? Also - I have some frags that I put on aragonite plugs with the pegs that have been growing on an eggcrate rack. Now that they are encrusted and growing do I cut them off and then superglue to the LR in my tank?

dremels are used a lot for lps. Most people I know that frag sps break it off or cut it off. The dremel comes in when the SPS is too thick to make a frag comfortably without possibly damaging the mother colony. You can leave them on the plugs and find a hole to stick them in or cut them off and super glue them to a rock... either will work and it depends on where you would like to place the rock.

The dremel is also used when cutting larger more fragile colonys of some kinds that you dont want to break anything off of that you dont want oiff of fropm the concussion of a snap.....or not shattering some monti species, or even cutting some montis in the first place
I just prefer the precise cuts they make and always have it handy......... i dont even keep lps |
