I've ordered several times from LA and wouldn't hesitate to order again. Great livestock and great customer service and great guarantee. I also order alot from reefhotspot.com, these 2 companies are the best out there. Reefhotspot also has great livestock, great customer servica and a 15 day gurantee. What I like the best about reefhotspot is you can talk to the owner Maxs [he's the greatest}let him know what you want and he'll will get it and make sure it is eating and disease free before shipping. Reefhotspot is all ways my first chioce when ordering online.

they almost all get their fish from the same wholesellers... try asking Ali over at AA&R if he can get you a specific fish....

Liveaquaria.com drops ships from Quality Marine LAX, one of the best or the best wholesaler in the U.S. Ask any LFS owner about Quality Marine and they will say the same thing. They will send MAC certified fish if available.

I've heard good things about MarineDepotLive.com, but LiveAquaria has the guarrantee.

Ali would be my choice for a hard to find species or particular size fish.

MDL has a guarantee for 5 days. At least you know they are local.

I agree that Quality Marine has the best fish from any wholesaler. MDL & L.A. both get their fish from the same place if I understand correctly. Thats why I get fish there also now.

I can understand why some need to order fish online across the country. But here in SoCal with the glut of LFS around we really don't have that need.

Looking at their website I see they have Mac certified Platax pinnatus. I've always thought juice was a major reason why these fish have proven to be so hard to keep.
I haven't been a fan of the MAC program due to their internal struggles and waste of funding (IMO) but in this case it makes me want one of these fish again.

you're in garden grove???? there are plenty of good lfs around that area like tong's, pacific reef, aquariums in motion, eye candy, orange coast fish, etc... why buy online and pay for overnight shipping. they can usually get you any fish you want. tong's always has a good assortment of fish on any given day. you can always put in a special request as well...

i personally like to pick out my fish rather than to have one selected for me. it's kinda nice when you see a fish that catches your eye's at the store. is there a particular reason why you want a mail ordered fish?

All i can say is that they spent bucks to make sure the fish are clean. Every section has 15 top of the line U.V.s, the fish are kept at a salinty of .20. and copper is only at .05. This place put me in aww when I was checking it out. Know wonder MDL and LA offer a 10-15 day guarantee, they have little to lose.
