Nice Scotches.
What are you going to put IN these two tanks? In your well finished basement...

I forgot I had the booze pics in there

As for the tanks, the long one is going to be primarily a softy tank and the cube tank is going to be primarily a stony tank...but I will mix them up a bit.

Are you running seperate sumps? I am assuming no with that Geo beast sitting back there. How will you handle the leather/sps relationship by mixing tank water?

Looks amazing though, you did a first class job

I am running both sumps plumbed together in series...gives me 8ft of sump and plenty of time to remove microbubbles.

Geo is building my skimmer...going to be a 5ft 18 inch diameter needlewheel skimmer with Sequence pump and Alita airpump....hopefully get that this year

As for the leather/sps problem...I am not too worried about that as my good friend, Stevie Guitar Smiller won TOTM twice here on RC with his 127g Tenecor tank which had beautiful SPS and one of the largest yellow leather corals I have seen.

Greg, aka capncapo deserves most of the credit for the basement...he has been here helping me for free the last couple of years...I just sit there and watch, drink beer and occasionally run to the hardware store for something

Every day I am alive is going to be a party I am really looking forward to getting water in these babies...it has been four years now they have sat down there empty.

I have watched and waited long enough

You are a crazy man. I like it. The whole thing is just perfect. I like the hinges on the canopy and the doors...

That phone in the fish room will come in handy. It seems like someone always calls when you have you hands in the tank.

I was thinking the same thing with the phone.people always do call when you have your hands in the tank or on that day when you decide to do your tank maintenance. You have it right on hand.Very nice setup.I don't think I could have waited 4 years I don't have that much patience.I was looking and I said is that 2 tanks or is it the pic then I realized no its 2 tanks.

*drool* Looks like quite the Epicurean den you've got there! I'm almost at a loss of words; everything about your basement is truly amazing! Including the Frank Zappa poster.

I was scanning the bar shelves for a bottle of Absinthe and didn't see one. Is that hiding in the bottom cupboards for private engagements only? :P

He did have some water in there. One night there was a little condensation forming.
