Great Service/Support In NJ from LFS

Hi folks,

I just wanted to pass along a great experience I had today at In Living Color in Marlton, NJ. A few days ago I began using the Fauna Marin Ultralith System. Part of the system requires the use of Zeolites in a reactor. The media needs to be "shaken" a few times a week, and during a routine shaking I shook a little too hard and some of the media entered my sump and damaged my return pump. The pump I had been using is a Coralife 790P. I made a quick trip to In Living Color to see about a replacement, and unfortunately they didn't have one in stock. The owner, Ed, immediately gave me another pump they had in stock to test, at no cost. He even gave me a role of Teflon tape! All done with nothing more than a handshake, a smile and an offer to help further if needed.

Needless to say, it's great to have a LFS that will really come through for you in a pinch. Try that with an on-line vendor! I was very impressed... In this day and age of poor customer service, this was an excellent example of why we need to support the LFS! Well done In Living Color, and thanks!

Hi folks,

I wanted to add one more comment here.... I spoke to Ed today and he mentioned that he is in the process of buying out his partner and has every intention of making the store an excellent source for dry goods and live goods. He mentioned there will be a re-grand opening taking place in a few weeks as well.

Given the level of support Ed has shown me (and I'm sure others) I have every reason to believe he will be successful in his goals. I wish them well, and plan to make many more purchases down he road, as they have certainly earned my business at this point.
