125 Reef with my new Nikon D40x

One month ago I posted some pics of my 125 gallons reef with a Canon point & shoot A630. I was very happy with my camera but decided to upgrade to a DSLR. I purchased a Nikon D40x with a 18-55mm and the 55-200mm zooms.

I also purchased a set of extension tubes for macro.

Not easy to learn but after some trial and error here are the first pics of my tank.

Any comments or suggestions are welcomed.

These are with the 18-55 zoom:

Here are some close ups with the 18-55mm zoom. They are not macros but I think they are close.

Here are some shoots with the extension tubes number 1 and 2. The problem with the tubes is that the viewfinder is very dark and difficult to focus manually. Also the light metering is a guess.
