stand question
I want to build a stand for either a 180 or 210 not sure what one yet. The question, can I build the stand with no center upright brace on the back part of the tank if I use 2x6's mounted to multiple 2x4s on the corner post.
I hope this maks sence.

I recently built a stand for a 210. Honestly, I don't think you can trust an answer from anyone other than an engineer. The stand I built has two 2x4's across each side, and 2 2x4's supporting them in the middle. Why don't you want the center support?

You should check for a used glulam you could buy a used take out one and cut it to fit. If you braced it on both ends correctly. Some glulams are as thick as 11" and as thin as 4". Both would hold your tank with no problems.

If I had to can I get away with one center support on the one side of the stand.
