My 125 gallon salt water tank

125 gallon salt water reef tank started in 1991

I use rain water for my partial water changes, which is cleaned up through super activated carbon in 32 gal. rain barrels. Several changes of cardon are used as I have several at different stages of clean up. When clean up is finished, I buffer the water(3 tsp.Kent Buffer ), then the follering day add 9 lbs. Tropic Marin Salt. The SG after mixing over night is ~ 1.024. I do two partial water changes a month.
I have a yellow tang that is 25 years old. The tomato clown is ~ 18 years old.
I have an aquapaselight and a Current Prime Chiller

I have leared a lot from Joe Genero who owns Fish World here in Richmond ,Va

Having a salt water tank is a constant learning process

Interesting info, but I'm kinda scratching my head why you posted that here in the magazine feedback and questions forum.
