I would say they are the easiest of all the seahorse to raise and care for. Seahorse require work so when I say easy its not a "set it, forget it" like some reef setup with CA reactor and timer. The babies and adults will eat the same thing and can be house in the same tank. They need to be feed often (one of the key factor here) the food need to be dense and you have to be willing to hatch Artemia/BBS almost daily. The setup is done with the mindset that I don't want to introduce any pest so that is why plastic plants are used. No RL or LS from reef tank were you might introduce critters that can string/hurt them.
