I had a major outbreak of red slime algae. It was covering my sandbed, glass, and most of my rock. I turned my lights off for 3 days, did 2 15g water changes (one in the middle of lights out and one right after I turned the lights back on), added 2 phosban reactors in series one running carbon the other phosban. My tank is crystal clear, all the algaes gone and its been 5 days since I turned the lights back on. I did lose one head of my hammer coral in the process, but everything else is fine.
