Sounds to me like more effort needs to be made towards feeding nutritional foods. Mollies and ghost shrimp just aren't something they have evolved to be able to extract nutrition from. Their food MUST be items that would be consumed in their natural setting. Short of feeding anthias and chromis, high levels of EFA's should be present.
That's my guess.
