they can lay eggs every 12 days or so, depending on tank temp. once they get into a routine they will lay eggs like clockwork as long as you dont disturb them by moving things around, changing lights ect...

if you really want to try to raise them get the book dc mentioned and take your time and read up on it.

if they are laying them in the same spot i would get a 4"x4" tile and then the night these eggs hatch(or the next batch) while the lights are still out slip the tile into the tank rough side out right where they have been laying the eggs and let them lay them on the tile a few times. then in the future if you do want to raise them, the night they are supposed to hatch you remove the tile to you larval rearing tank and let them hatch in there.
