laser all the way!
I have a Lexmark Optra S 1525 laser
duplexer (prints 2 sides)
3 paper trays (plain paper, letterhead, invoice stock)
envelope feeder
toner cartridge costs about 80 bucks, rated at 10-12 K pages
huge footprint, but it's a workhorse & I can't complain
