My favorite fish has to be my moorish idol and emperror angel. I also like the achilles tang which is next on my list.

Nice fish, good luck on finding it a good home. If my tank was bigger i would also take him. I have too many tangs now.

I would avoid fresh water dips as well if possible.. For tangs, hypo is a good treatment. Adding garlic, selcon and vita-chem to their daily feedings and increasing the feedings can help fight it off...

Yes the vlamingi and naso tangs need new homes. If wanting an idol i say wait until you upgrade and base your tank around the idol itself. Being one of the first addictions to your tank would help...

Never had one jump on me, but it doesn't mean they won't do it. I wouldn't call them jumpers like wrasses but never hurts to be cautious.

oxygen could be a main factor, specially in a 120 with an 11inch naso but also it could of been stress of being in a small tank for its size. Besides the naso's any other tang you had trouble with?

Care to elaborate on this more? How many times you done this, which tangs you did it with and what was the reason? I can't see why you would want to do this to any fish.
