I only have a 12 gallon, so I don't won't to keep sticking my whole arm in my system EVERYDAY to try and exterminate my majono anemone infestation.

well, I have tested in probably six...

but everything seems to be fine
the first few times I tested for phosphates they have been zero, but like I said that was awhile...
