Space would be a consideration also. You can drop a submersible into the sump but need space outside the sump for an external.
This example works in favor of both pumps depending on your setup.

I don't know where lykens is. I actually live in Nanticoke, it borders Wilkes-Barre. Most know Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area so it was a safer bet that way they know the general area of the state. :)
