None in the display. But if I leave it unattented, it totally takes over the sump. Grows all in the chaeto and blocks the light.

I even took out the chaeto for 2...

My sump is 1/2 full of chaeto. Good water flow. But I keep getting red algae all in the chaeto.

My sump has been taken over by this red cottony algae.
It used to be just a couple of spots and I would siphon it out.

Now, it is all in my chaeto, and taking over.

THat is an impressive drawing, I am going to change my setup and incorperate it.


Currently, my downflow goes into a filter system (filter floss and carbon) before it hits the sump....

I did a 20% water change and thought that it wouldn't
cause the skimmer to go crazy...at least I learned something.

I tried all the stuff above, rock scrubbing, the Paul B. algae screen... the sugar thing is a new one to me, this is what worked for me.
