If you can make the platform on your stand bigger...
If you can make the platform on your stand bigger than the tank it makes it easier to clean because you can stand on it and lean over the tank. I only have a 2' lip and it's hard to use step stools...

Not trying to steal the thread but it sounds beautiful. We have an in wall system so we didn't have to think about things like that. When I move it up stairs I'll remember that idea.

You're going way too fast. A tank should cycle for at least a month and let it stabilize. Add a clean up crew and make sure your cycle is over. What are the rest of your parameters?
