they're a different species. the blue-green(C. atripectoralis) has black at the inner portion of the pectoral fins and attains a slighly larger size than the green (C. viridis).

only thing to add; is if you only intend on keeping small fish like you have now, you may be able to avoid directly treating if fish do not show signs of distress. whether this will work out or not...
