I would say keep them. Killing off a couple of snails here or there is not a very big price to pay to have those active scavangers eating whatever food or dead fish may have gotten stuck somewhere.

Put a tee in the return line and have it tee off...
Put a tee in the return line and have it tee off too the sump and create a little flow somewhere. No need to put back pressure on pump.

It would be rubbing if it had a parasite or itchy infection. If a fish is ever rubbing against anything that is a definite sign of pathogen infection.

I started an internship at Reefermadness, and man is that store the bomb diggitys. Checking the store out is a must, the guys running the place are very smart and know alot about the corals.
