You do not need a sump to keep a successful reef....

You do not need a sump to keep a successful reef. The sump increases your tanks volume, allows you to hide equipment ( skimmer, reactors, heaters, act as a fuge, place monitors and probes...

Thanks, no1fishman. I wanted to change lamps to get better PAR and coloration. Right now they are blue/white. After they burn in for 100 hrs, I'll know if I should keep them or try the AB 10k's.
