Just did the paper towel thing, WOW! Amazing differance. Now i just have to save my bucks for a tunze 9010. My tank is in my livingroom so the quiter the better.

I love these guys, they are a bit aggresive, but if you target feed them they arent too bad. I dont keep snails because of a ato incident once, thankfully i was home.

I put a couple strips of filter foam on the outlet of my remora pro where the water meets the suface and it almost completely stopped the microbubbles. Just have to keep them clean.

I'm using the kolorscape playsand from walmart, cant beat the price 3.06 for 50 lbs. It passes the fizz test. Only way i could afford 300 plus lbs for my 125.

Try having your return line from your tank...

Try having your return line from your tank submerged in your sump, i had to do that to quiet it down, helped alot. Alot less running water sound.

Have heard of mandarins eating them but mine starved to death with a tank full of flatworms. I can definatly say that flatworm exit is the way to go. Just make sure to remove any serpent stars before...
