It should be donated to Steinhart or Monterey Aquarium. What's more sad is that you see them at area LFS's and these creatures belong on the back of a manta ray or shark (not in ANY home aquarium)...

Yep; skimmer and air-outlets, I would not worry about tank seals (bulkheads, vinyl tubes, etc). I've been running 60mg/hr for a month through cheap vinyl airline with no brittleness (yet).
