Most people will recommend to never mix triggers and lions. The majority of the time the triggers will chew down the fins of the lionfish until they die from injury/stress.

I have, mine at a young age was already killing other fish. They can be very aggressive, similar to a clown triggerfish. Many consider it to be less aggressive than the clown trigger however.
