Gorgonian Info needed

I was considering adding a sea fan to my 75 gal softie tank. I have no experience with these creatures and wondered if anyone could help me out with some basic info on them.

I have three 400w lights above a 18 in deep 125gal. Put a clip on fan on the tank and have it go on with the light. its good for about 3 deg F. My lights sit 9" above the tank I do not have a hood....

Giving sps too much light is like trying to giving a fish too much water. Just acclimate the coral when you get it. start it at the bottom and move it up over a couple of weeks.

Funman is correct about valves. The holes in the pipe are at the waters surface in my tank and have no effect on flow, but they are lifesavers when the pumps off.

Not only will the overflow from the tank drain down to whatever level you set it at, the return pump will siphon water from the main tank if power is lost.

the best way to stop it is drill small...

Just make sure the siphon doesnt break sending all the water from the frag tank to the main AND THEN TO THE FLOOR. Dont ask how I know this.

We lost power here a while back and did not fire...

We lost power here a while back and did not fire up the generator until the power was out for three or so hours-no ill effects.
