I just bought the ati 250 for my 240 reef...
I just bought the ati 250 for my 240 reef replacing the etss 800. I really like the ati much more consistent and really produces.
So I can tell you the ati is a fine product.

I added 6 emeralds to my 240 and they didn't keep...
I added 6 emeralds to my 240 and they didn't keep up. Then I added 6 more and popped and pulled out the bubbles and the emeralds are keeping up now and the bubbles are disappearing.

I think the key is to try a number of them. I would put at least 6 in your tank.
I've read that some may not eat the bubbles and some do, so keep trying until you get the ones that work.

I use a syringe with concentrated calcium...
I use a syringe with concentrated calcium hydroxide( Kalk). I turn off the pumps so it doesn't blow around. The star polyps will draw it in when they close up and it kills them .
This works great...
