24 hour photoperiod

Do you think its possible to keep your lights on 24 hours a day with no ill effects on photosynthetic inverts

any thoughts and info will be much appreciated.

has anybody ever kept on they're lights for 24 hrs a day, with no ill effects on photosynthetic inverts.

I have an actnic/10000k a reg 10000k and a actnic also . I turn almost all off at night...

what size is the tank? how big was the anemone...

what size is the tank? how big was the anemone before and after?, if there is massive damage to the foot it is most likely not gonna make it but hey anythings possibe

in the wild they would surely die w/o they're host anemone from predators.but in a tank w/out predators an anemone is not needed.

actually the best thing to do to seed the sand would be to go to the lfs and ask them for a handfull of theyr'e sand so you could seed your tank. just mix the sand with yours and it will seed your...

once, a while ago,i had anemones, and one of them at about 4 inches just had to have the best water circulation ever. he found the perfect place the middle of my intake tube which is about 3/4"...

i really dont think it wouldve been that fast from malnutrition fish can usually live for a couple weeks w/no food.
maybe you should ponder the thought of what else could of happened

yeah i think you should get the biggest mesh net possible turn off or dim the lights and herd it into a corner and scoop him up from underneath has always been the easiest for me
