not the best advice but when i first started i kept a condy under normal fresh water bulbs for over a year and it looked great....i fed it enough to make up for the lack of lighting .....it worked...

i just use the powder free latex...

i just use the powder free latex gloves......works fine. Taking a peek into my tank at night alone makes me wear them. When I first started I didnt use anything and never had any problems.
