I have no problems with my TS3650 saw. The fence is dead on, and I have made minor alignments to the saw maybe twice in 3 years. FWIW, for a contractor saw I consider its performance to be excellent.

The only saws that're more dangerous IMO are the Radial Arm Saw and the Toe Kick Saw. That being said, the most dangerous thing is any workshop is still going to be YOU... so follow safety procedures...

Yep, if I had to pick one it'd be a table saw, hands down, with a decent miter gauge. I'll even go so far as to say Ridgid TS3650 saw ($549 at Home Depot)) and then add an Incra V27 miter gauge ($50...

Channel Lock pliers; squeeze the tab into the cable and PULL at a slight angle. The strain relief should pop out of the hole. Reverse to install the new cable.

How slow do you need it? I've got a nano that's using an RO/DI drip at the rate of 1 drop every 20 seconds, using 1/4" tubing with an adjustable air valve. Just have to play with it a while to get it...

Same q as jksteele010, how much "woodworking" you going to do with it? The only time I use my miter saw is when I do some trim work for the house; for everything else I use my table saw, router, etc....

On, for what your normal period's going to be. The tank's going to go through algae cycles anyway, and I like to have the tank running from the beginning on its normal routine.
