i havnt noticed it but ill keep an eye on it... if it is picking on the clam then its going into a frying pan with some butter and herbs

the temp is usually about 80 degrees wich is the same as the tank it came from at the lfs and i use aquamedic reefsalt

if you wanna do a reef then do it and just keep it with a few tangs and maybe a grouper but no shrimp, crabs etc and put in a few corals with a very efficient skimmer and away you go

id go with a twin 14K 250w halide with quad 110w VHO's (2x actinic and 2x 10K) should be intense enough for pretty much anything you wanna keep

yeh a fluidized bed should be absolutely fine, and LR will be ok for 3 hours if you keep it at least partially submerged
