Degassing

Bio balls are good for degassing. I would leave them there for that reason alone. Do you have a strong skimmer? Skimmers are also good for degassing. If you dont have a skimmer leave the bio balls....

I concur. 10,000 K is where its at. Frags of any type will grow like crazy with 4 or 5 watts per gallon under a 10 K spectrum.
