to be sure the parasites have completed the life cycle i would leave the tank fishless for 8 weeks min. 6 week copper tx should be enough to cure your fish.

you know i thought that too but when i put my much bigger skimmer on my tank i had a horrible time with micro bubbles and just couldn't get the thing dialed in. so IMO 1 tank size up at most.
