one thing i noticed, the euroreef wedge outlet pictured above does fit the outlet of the skimmer, you would just have to cut it down some...

well 2 layers of mesh was too much for the ps-150 int, even one layer seemed to overpower the skimmer!! although i could have been more patient and waited more than a couple...

that gen x venturi is closer to the euroreef venturi, and better than the octo im willing to bet, but i've never held one in my hands or used one. i think luke has used that venturi on his via aqua...

the thing that makes it perform so much better is that they removed the elbow from the pump outlet, and they instead put the pump...

the 120 is way better than the 110, first off, the body diameter is an inch bigger, it now gets 300lph because they took the elbows out...

yes, i think 2 or 3 layers will work better... look at the impellar of an ati mesh wheel, there's only 2 or 3 layers depending on which model of skimmer you get.
