food grade baking soda as buffer 99.5%

package reads 99.5% NaHCO3 and 0.5% corn starch...

would 0.5% corn starch affect my reef if used as buffer?

or should i just go out and get arm and hammer with 100% NaHCO3?

it was first time and i had the pair for only about 6...

you really can't tell at the fish store because they may get chewed off and what not... and you can really tell the difference witht he dorsal fin because.. well, I am not saying the intire...
