MRC MR2 skimmer for sale SoCal Inland Empire/Temecula area

Trying to sell my MR2 dual injector with quick release in the SoCal Inland Empire area (Temecula area). Pickup only, no delivery/shipping. Also included would be the PCX-55HP pump I bought with it. Both are fairly new, and have had about 4 months of actual use. They are both in great working condition. The only thing to mention about the skimmer is that the notorious pvc ring that holds the injectors together is cracked in both injectors. As mentioned elsewhere in the MRC Club thread, a piece of schedule 40 (or was it 80) 1" pvc will fit this perfectly. I just used 3 zip ties cranked down tight around the old rings, and it works just fine. Been sitting in my garage for about 6 months now. I'd like $300, but will consider lower offers if I am unable to get this. If you're interested, I'll also throw in a 2 3/4" SCWDs that have had about six months of use also for free (both work fine). Here's a pic:

I'd be happy to answer any questions or post additional pics upon request.

Thanks,
Mathias

If you decide to ship I might be interasted

mathias999us 12/11/2005 05:07 PM

Sorry BIGSKY, I think this would be prohibitively expensive to ship... I'm guessing at least $40....

BIGSKY 12/11/2005 05:22 PM

I would be interasted for 250$ plus shipping. what is broken on it and how much would it dost to get fixed?

Nothing is broken, the unit is functioning fine, I've just employed some zip ties to hold the retaining rings on the injectors together. Read the MRC Club for more info. A piece of 1" PVC will fix it - it's either schedule 80 or schedule 40 - the thicker walled one that will be a perfect fit, and will cost a buck or so. I use zip ties, and they work just fine. BIGSKY, I'll keep you in mind at this point if I don't get a better offer. I hate shipping large things, and I'd like $300 for it, so I'd like to wait a bit to see if there's any other offers.

Thanks,
Mathias

I will take it for 260$ plus shipping if you don,t get any other offers.

OK, cool BIGSKY. You're the first in line. If I don't receive any other offers on it by next Saturday, I will take you up on that.
