snail spawning-good sign or bad?

My snails spawned(would that be the correct term?) yesterday, and after doing a search here there seems to be some debate over if this is stress related or a sign of quality stable conditions. What is your opinion?

Here is a pic. I havent cleaned my glass in about 2 weeks (maybe thats why they are so happy) so it isnt the best.

Scott , it is probly just snail eggs. Are they stuck to the glass in a squiggly pattern? my ceriths lay eggs all the time on the glass and my turbos have babie survivors.

It took me over a month to figure out where the white puffs were coming from. :)
I vote, a sign of a good tank.
