JBJ 12 gal lighting upgrade choices
 

HAve JBJ 12 gal with 48 watt P.C. lights. Corals are mainly Palys, Zoas, Ricordia , LPS such as Plate, Blastos and Acanth frags.
Don't really like the M.H. options.

Looking at either Nano-Customs Replacement Hood with 96 watts
or 24" Nova Extreme T-5.
I seem to like the Nova Extreme but will the mounts work on the JBJ?

How much of the tank needs to have a cover over it for the Nova Extreme?

Any blue moonlight compatable to change from the white?

Would mh be an option. the 24" might not fit on top and even if you do manage there will be alot of wasted light. check out a sunpod mh. thats what i have and love it. i know heat might be an issue but even if you get the nanotuners upgrade heat will stil be a problem.
