2 acros grown into 1

My loripes and a green/blue acro I had next to each other have now joined at the tips. I actualy noticed about 2 weeks ago and find this strange because usualy when any of my others touch one looses. Is this common or am I creating a new coral or ?

Very improbable, but not impossible. This has only happened one other time "that I'm aware of" and created the Grafted Simplex. You definitely have something on your hands that's extraordinary, and shouldn't normally happen. Pictures need to be taken of this.

I have seen many corals grow into each other. Sometimes that is also where new braches will start. The grafted simplex is one coral, whereas, two corals can grow and touch and sometimes, yes sometimes, they can co exist.

This has been going on for a few month now. They are not exactly growing into one but they haven't kill each other yet. The slimmer exactly grew downwards towards the milli.

Wow, you could make a lot of money by fragging that first one!

IME, at best, one will slowly grow over the other. At worst, one will kill the other. Best to not have them touch, IMO.

Here's a blue prostrata overtaking a pink mille....
