Immediate Help

I was transporting my tank home from college. Here is the issue...during a two hour drive, the temperature dropped from 82 degrees to 72 degrees. Is this a problem because everything looks small and shriveled. Did I lose my entire coral collection: ricordea, mushrooms, kenya tree, etc.

Please answer ASAP with any suggestions on how to reconcile the issue.

Thanks

Did you set the tank back up. When you if you havent already raise the temp slowly. They are just stressed out rght now. It should pass.

Your stuff should be fine. Just bring it back up to temp slowly.

Did you use as much old water as possible?
Leave main lights out for 24 hours and cut main lights time a little fow a few days to help with stress.

i just brought all my stuff back too and wont be able to set up the tank for another day. on the way home everything dropped into the 60's... ive got an air stone and heater going in their bucket rite now they should live through it tho until 2morrow when i can set up the tank

you'll be fine, i actually had the temp drop into the 60s, with parts into the 40's. everythign lived through it except for 5-6 snails a couple crabs and one kenya tree piece that lost its grip.
