Which wrasses would you consider the most beautiful?

I have a 150 Gallon Saltwater aquarium, i currently have many fish in it such as a sohal tang, a purple tang, salifin tang (red sea), 3 Blue hippo tangs, yellow tang, 2 true perculas, flame angel, and orange anthias, and magnificent foxface. I am currently in search of smaller reef fishes that give even more life to the aquarium. What would you guys reccomend?

That's alot of tangs for that small of an aquarium.

Reef_Daniel1527 06/13/2007 07:55 PM

Yup that is indeed a long of thangs, but they have been living together for over a year, except for purple tang, which was in conflict with yellow tang but is now doing very well and not in conlflict anymore

I have had many fairy wrasses in the past. But I would rate the Lineatus Fairy wrasses and the Flame wrasse as my top two favorites!! Laboutei Fairy wrasses are also beautiful!!

Lineatus, Rhomboid and finally the Laboutei..

some blue star leopards look good too as well as certain fairy filament wrasses

I like the McCoskers flasher wrasse quite a bit.

I love the pylei. The males are hella nice!

Hi there,

I like the laboutei wrasse alot, though theyre a little too costly for me.

cheers,
ian

I agree with Deltec, my two favorites are super male lineatus and male flame wrasse, these two fish compliment each other in my opinion :)

I'd get rid of some Tangs before adding anything else:eek: Sohal's are known to grow up and kill off their tankmates so I guess if you wait awhile, he'll thin out the Tang population for you:(
