Blue Encrusting Monti. This thing is true blue under my standard halides. More purple under my HQi's in my frag tank.

How do you go about cutting off a piece so that it will encrust another piece? I know that you can just break off a piece, but I want a piece so that it will encrust a large piece of LR. Do you dremel the piece out?

I just picked this up for 35$...the guy said its was burnt orange polyps on a purple base, but I seen the bright red ont he edges. Do you think this whole thing will morph to bright red? I have heard stories of it happening, so I risked it.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking =). I added the other 35$ for good measure but its not too bad, like purple with baby blue polyps.

I wish =(....it hasnt grown a 1/16th of an inch while my blue polyped danae has gone from dime size to golfball size. Man.

i got 3 frags of red/blue danae this week!!!!!
so i glued them all together to make a bootleg colony lol

that one came from Kris, who I think got it from Tracy Gray. this one really holds it's orangy orange color nicely.
