I wonder if god thought this much about creating pillars for his big saltwater tank...
You want to come over and do mine?
Looks sweet. |
GOD had more room to work with :)
Thanks guys! On the hunt for one more rock... |

nice work i know im sick of moving mine arround already but when i upgrade to a 125 im going to take my sweet time getting the rocks perfect but then again i might wat to change them again thats just me.
looks good to me!
They look great. I will have to try to build some cool pillars on my next build :)
Very nice!
So did you end up attaching them to each other in some way? Or are they just going to be well stacked?
they are sturdy as is; however, just for that extra bit of assurance, i will be using some acrylic rods to prevent any possible shifting.
I'm heading out to Denios...you want me to pick one up for you?
Looks great so far, can't wait to see the final product

i like the first pics ya showed better.......but in all honesty it your tank you will be the one looking and working with it on a regular bases so make it how you want it.
appreciate your honesty. that's why i'm sharing. i'm waiting on a base for my stand; in the mean time i keep playing with the rocks :-)
this arrangement looks better in person. the first pics were a bit tall (22" tallest pillar - without sand underneath). on a 24" tank that left me no room to put anything on top of the rocks. the new arrangement is 18" on the left and 15" on the right. |
