Doc when we were talking I told you about the cyclop-eeze that I love for my smaller LPS. This stuff is awesome, it stays in the freezer and pumps. I just take a plastic 8 oz cup, fill it with tank water and use 1 or 2 pumps of this in there. Let it sit for a minute or so. Then I use a baster or Kent long feeder - pull some of this up and gently sqeeze it out a few inches above micros/dendros/balanos/duncans and the love it. It perfect - it slowly falls onto the polyps and they love it. Its way easier than the frozen bars or flat sheets of cyclopeeze and makes no mess. I also put a couple blasts in my tank so my fish are busy while I feed my LPS.

You can also just pour the whole cup right in your tank and it'll get to the LPS usually. I sometimes just dump it in at night when they're mouths are wide open! I'm out of Arcti Pods but thats what I used to feed my medium sized LPS. But they seem to be doing really well with the cyclopeeze 100%.

"Liquid Life MarinePlankton (MP) contains Cyclopeeze, a unique nutrient comprised of a micro-crustracean farmed by Argent Chemical Laboratories. Warning, MarinePlankton use will excite your fish! Used as a supplement feed, it will play a vital role in the coloration, growth and survivability of both fresh and saltwater fish. Through its buoyancy, MarinePlankton has an excellent capture rate by reef invertebrates like corals and crustaceans, and fish also eagerly accept this unique food. With more than 40 times the fatty acid content of Brine Shrimp, MarinePlankton can be used as a complete artemia replacement. By feeding your fish with a diet comprising up to 25% MP, they will reward you with increased immune-resistance, and enhanced sexual maturity. Feed only as much as your aquarium will consume in 3-5min. When freezer stored, MarinePlankton has a three year shelf life."

Here are some of my older ones (3-6 months old). They all started out as little frags as well. Hopefully they'll be as great as some of those 4-5 inchers some day.

ReefDoctorMicromussas 11/03/2006 07:19 PM

That last lord pic looks familiar.... where have I seen that???

Awesome pieces man! Hey have you forgotten your ol' bud?

:(

Fliger 11/03/2006 07:34 PM

LOL Doc, the knife falls this weekend. ;) My wife is out on business for a few days so I get extra tank time. I've been on this stupid consulting gig and its driving me nuts. But it pays for more corals so I can't complain. ;)

The last pic has been on ebay in the past. The closest one I've seen to it is on thecaptivereef and I think its $600/polyp. I'd love to do a trade with him as they're slightly different in the center.

Maximus 11/03/2006 08:12 PM

Must get purple lord!! Must get purple lord!!

Yeah doc where have you seen that?:D

RicordiaFever 11/03/2006 08:54 PM

Hey it would be nice if you asked when you use my pics. And then say you have only seen them from the captivereef. It looks like now i'm going to have to use a lock on the front of every pic that says my sites name.

By the way this is REDYUMA26

Coming Tuesday ...

Wow man, I'm sorry you took offense to that. I had told you before that I was going to do that. Those are the colonies that I bought frags from you. I had mentioned your auction in another thread, I thought you'd be happy with it. I didn't say they were from captivereef - only that he has some that look similar.

If not, my mistake for sure and I DO apologize.

edit - but you are correct I shouldn't have used your pix without getting specific permission first. People on RC use vendor photos all the time, I thought I'd be helping. Anyway just lemme know how you want me to proceed, I am fine either way.

RicordiaFever 11/03/2006 09:48 PM

Hey no problem, it's just that when you post someones pic you should probablly give them credit for what they have, not confusing the pics with another store or online stores name.

Anyways just give credit where credit is do.

Well i don't want to take away from the topic of the thread so keep posting pics. I like to see other colors that i don't have.

Fliger 11/03/2006 09:56 PM

I'm the first to admit when I'm wrong. You are right, it was confusing - sorry. :) And you're also right I should have given you reference in that post. But the rules here on RC get shady sometimes so I was a little cautious. Obviously I'm a good customer and anyone I buy from knows I give credit where its due (including Doc).

But yeah I made a deal with Ric Fever when I missed out on an auction of his so I email'd him for another deal. He has been awesome to deal with and I'm waiting anxiously for Tuesday morning.

There will be plenty of good feedback for you.

Time for a beer or four now.

ReefDoctorMicromussas 11/04/2006 12:19 AM

I also have some REDYuMAs they are great and he was good to deal with! :) And yes Filger always gives me credit... although I have decided that I want credit for the purple and green one also LOL

calero 11/04/2006 01:20 AM

hey julio, is this what you want ? big, fat and a lot of babies LOL, let me know when i can see the doctor's micros that you received, enjoy them.

RicordiaFever 11/04/2006 08:52 AM

Hey Doc,

How are those Santa Micro's doing. Why don't you post a pick. I would love to see it after it got shipped. Also you should show that big extra colony that was growing out of the top of the colony. Anyways later.

ReefDoctorMicromussas 11/04/2006 11:35 AM
