I have a lil' bit of everything ranging in hardiness from Monti caps to "bottle brush" acros. The new tank is composed entirely of LIVE sand and LIVE rock. Nothing is "curing" and my NH4=0, NO2=0, NO3=6, and PO4=0 . The tank has been running for approximately 3.5 weeks. I used Bio-spira to jump start the cycle when the tank was first set up at the end of November.
I am assuming that it is okay to add the SPS now as long as I work on getting the NO3 down to 0. Am I correct in making this assumption?
Is a NO3 level of 6ppm harmful to SPS?
Thanks,
Garen
