I have noticed recently that the sand is getting covered by some kind of algae that make it look green/brown.

water quality is within parameters.
There are no fish in the tank, just a crab, a peppermint shrimp, and a few snails and hermit crabs.
The tank has been running for about 1-1/2 months.

Doesnt seem like any of the critters in the tank are interested in eating the algae off the sand, what can i do?

Sounds like diatoms, new tanks always have it. Weekly water changes and a mix of snails and hermits should get rid of it.

I have
25 Nassarius
3 Cernith
3 Nerite
Dozens Stomatella
and 1 Margarita snail
in my nanocube.

Get a good mix and watch it vanish.
