Please welcome Andy and Mia of Downtown Pets as our newest LFS in ChiTown!

Well, it took me awhile to get downtown with a few extra minutes, so I could visit Downtown Pets.... I did last week and it was well worth it. Andy and Mia are the owners and Eric recently joined them as their aquatic expert.

Andy...Adam, close enough, no worries!! Great place and nice people. I WANT THAT BLASTO COLONY, but i am poor student up to my ears in debt. Cant spend more than 30$ on one piece of coral....have rent and all


still i will be in there regularly from now on droooling...they look nice enough to take pity on me dont you think?

I didn't notice before that they were a CMAS discount provider now.

A good move by both downtown pets and CMAS, as I will a) now join CMAS and b) now frequent downtown pets over Old Town Aquarium...a win, win, win!

Is there parking or is it better to take public transportation?

I never have a problem fining parking right outide their place. it's metered, but it's cheap.

Yea, it's only $0.25 for an hour! The only time you may run into parking issues is the middle of the day. Then, you'll have to park a whole block or two away. :lol:
